Afinum Fünfte Beteiligungsgesellschaft mbH & Co. KG, Munich, advised by Afinum Management GmbH, has sold its majority position in Schlotterer rollcom.de GmbH & Co. KG, Bodelshausen.

Schlotterer (www.schlotterer.de) designs and manufactures manual and automatic shutter systems made from extruded plastic or aluminum profiles. Customers of Schlotterer are window makers and producers of prefabricated houses. In addition, the company offers sun protection systems and mosquito mesh for windows. It serves both the residential as well as commercial building sector.

Buyer is the Hörmann-Group from Steinhagen, one of the leading manufacturers of doors, door frames and drives in Europe. The acquisition of Schlotterer is intended to further strengthen Hörmann’s exterior sun protection activities.

Afinum had acquired all shares in Schlotterer in 2011 as part of a succession plan of the previous private owners of the company.
