LIFTKET Hoffmann GmbH has acquired all shares in ChainMaster Bühnentechnik GmbH (www.chainmaster.de) as part of a succession plan.

ChainMaster is an event and stage technology specialist developing automated hoist systems including control, software, and operator interfaces. ChainMaster
will continue operations as a separate company with its established ChainMaster brand and its facility in Eilenburg near Leipzig. LIFTKET plans to grow the stage segment, strengthening both companies. ChainMaster and LIFTKET supply attractive international entertainment markets and work with qualified local partners for customer service and sales. Both companies will continue to develop and manufacture hoists for precise and safe positioning of lighting and sound equipment and other loads. Both LIFTKET in Wurzen and ChainMaster in Eilenburg are located close to the city of Leipzig, in the dynamic industrial region of Saxony, working closely together for over two decades.

LIFTKET Hoffmann GmbH is a platform investment of Afinujm Siebte Beteiligungsgesellschaft mbH & Co. KG. LIFTKET, a leading manufacturer of electric chain hoists, was acquired by Afinum in late 2016 as part of a succession plan. Employing more than 230 employees in Wurzen the company manufactures high quality, customised hoists made in Germany.
